Reframed the Problem
Through customer conversations, we uncovered that headcount management is highly complex yet still reliant on disconnected teams, manual processes, and spreadsheets. We positioned spreadsheets as the main “bogeyman” and labeled the overarching challenge "The Headcount Headache."
Strengthened the Narrative Arc
The original deck didn’t fully address the pain customers feel and over-indexed on examples and features. We refined the structure to make the problem more visceral and the solution more compelling.
Prioritized Value Over Features
We anchored the pitch around TeamOhana’s core value, avoiding the common pitfall of overwhelming customers with features. Our approach was to sell the value first and then attach features to it, reserving deep product details for the demo.
